Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has transformed business operations in many sectors, including the florist industry. Gie&More Florist still faces several obstacles in its sales process due to the use of a conventional system, where transactions are carried out manually or through direct communication via WhatsApp. This approach causes inefficiencies in managing orders, inventory, and customer services. This research aims to design and develop an online sales and transaction information system based on the Laravel framework, featuring a custom bouquet module that allows customers to choose flower types, colors, sizes, and accessories according to their preferences. The system is expected to improve sales effectiveness, data management efficiency, and the overall customer experience. The development method used in this research is the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, system design (using flowcharts, DFD, and ERD), implementation, testing using Black Box Testing, and maintenance. Data collection was conducted through interviews with the store owner and direct observation of business processes at Gie&More Florist. The expected outcome of this study is the development of a Laravel-based e-commerce florist application equipped with an interactive custom bouquet feature and a secure online transaction system. The system can manage customer, product, and sales data in an integrated manner, generate automatic sales reports, and support multiple payment and delivery methods. Consequently, the system is expected to enhance sales performance, improve service quality, and strengthen the competitiveness of Gie&More Florist in the digital era.
