Abstract

Thesis Title: Social awareness profile of semester VI class A students of guidance and counseling study program in the academic year 2024/2025. The problem investigated is: What is the social awareness profile of semester VI class A students of guidance and counseling study program in the academic year 2024/2025? The purpose of the study was to determine the social awareness profile of semester VI class A students of guidance and counseling study program in the academic year 2024/2025. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive and the data collection tool is a social awareness questionnaire. The research data analysis technique uses the central tendency formula. The results of the research data analysis show that the average score of the social awareness profile of semester VI class A students of guidance and counseling study program is 135.9242 in the range of 120 - 155, which is classified as high. This means that sixth semester students of class A have awareness of themselves with others and have a greater ability to channel feelings of empathy so that individuals are able to understand students when they are in the campus environment. Based on the results of the analysis of research data as described, the researcher submits suggestions to the following parties: a) Study Program: is expected to be a forum for providing constructive input in developing and realizing students' social awareness in the campus environment so that in the future it will be even better, b) Students: Can be a source of learning for students, xii help them increase social awareness more comprehensively, and increase concern for social issues in the community
