Abstract
This research was written by Margaretha Yolanda Ndejeng (31120056). The Development Economics Study Program under the guidance of Supervisor I Dr. Simon Sia Niha, SE, M.Si and Supervisor II Mr. Adrianus Ketmoen, SE, MM with the research title "Analysis of Factors Influencing the Demand for Pork at Oeba Slaughterhouse". The purpose of this study is to describe the price of pork, consumer income, fish prices, and chicken prices descriptively, as well as to determine the partial and simultaneous effects of pork prices, consumer income, fish prices, and chicken prices on the demand for pork at Oeba Slaughterhouse statistically. This study uses quantitative data and data sources in the form of primary data and secondary data obtained through questionnaires. The population in this study is all pork consumers who consume pork and come from Oeba Slaughterhouse, the number of which is unknown. The sample in this study uses the Ferdinand formula with a sample of 100 people. Then the data is processed using SPSS Version 24 to find descriptive statistical results, multiple linear regression, classical assumption tests, hypothesis tests, and determination tests (R2 ). Partially, the Pork Price Variable (X1) has a negative and insignificant effect on the demand for pork at Oeba Slaughterhouse because the t-value < t-table and the significance value > 0.05. The Consumer Income Variable (X2) has a positive and insignificant effect on the demand for pork at Oeba Slaughterhouse because the t-value > t-table and the significance value > 0.05, while the Fish Price (X3) and Chicken Price (X4) have a positive and significant effect on the demand for pork at Oeba Slaughterhouse because the t-value > t-table and the significance value < 0.05. Simultaneously, the significance value is obtained < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05) and the calculated F-value > F-table (37.356 > 2.47). Therefore, the independent variables Pork Price (X1), Consumer Income (X2), Fish Price (X3), and Chicken Price (X4) have a positive and significant effect on the demand for pork at Oeba Slaughterhouse. The coefficient of determination is 0.595 or 59%. It is expected that future researchers will further develop other independent variables that affect the demand for pork at Oeba Slaughterhouse.
