Abstract

Malaka Regency is one of the regions in East Nusa Tenggara Province that has considerable capture fisheries potential. However, the process of collecting data on fishermen and catch results at the Malaka Regency Fisheries Office is still carried out manually, resulting in delays, recording errors, and difficulties in report preparation. This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system for fishermen and catch data management to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of data management. The system development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing using the black box testing method. The system was developed using the Laravel framework and MySQL database and is equipped with fisheries data management features, statistical dashboards, and report generation in PDF format. The test results indicate that all system functions operate according to user requirements, accelerate data processing and reporting, and support centralized fisheries data management.
