Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged the use of information systems in the agricultural sector to increase farmer productivity. The village of Golo Damu, Mbeliling District, West Manggarai Regency, as a pineapple production center, still experiences limited access to information on cultivation and marketing. This study aims to design and develop a Pineapple Cultivation Web Portal as an information and consultation medium for farmers. The system development method uses the Waterfall model with stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing using the blackbox method. The system was developed using PHP and MySQL with features including login, user management, cultivation information, gallery, news, price trends, and consultation between users and administrators. Testing results showed that all features functioned according to functional requirements without significant errors. The web portal built is capable of providing cultivation information, market prices, and consultation services, thereby improving farmers' knowledge, pineapple production quality, and community welfare.
