Abstract

Pasir Mas is a business engaged in event equipment rental services in Atambua, providing items such as tents, chairs, sound systems, lighting, and stages. Currently, its business processes are still carried out manually, which often leads to issues such as inaccurate inventory records, overlapping rental schedules, and delays in preparing financial and damage reports. This study aims to design and develop a web-based rental management information system capable of automating these business processes in an integrated manner. The system is developed using the Waterfall method, with Django as the backend framework, Bootstrap for the frontend, and SQLite3 as the database management system. The key features of this application include a minimum H-3 booking validation to support logistics management, automatic calculation of installation and dismantling schedules, real-time inventory management synchronized with transactions, and a comprehensive reporting system that can be exported to PDF format. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method, which showed that all functional features—from authentication to report management—operate in accordance with user requirements. The result of this study is a web-based application that improves operational efficiency, minimizes data recording errors, and supports professional management at Pasir Mas Atambua.
