Abstract

This research focuses on designing and developing a web-based library information system at the Balai Guru Penggerak of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province. The study is driven by the existing limitations in manual library management and information access, which make it less efficient for teachers and educational staff to obtain learning materials. The system is developed using the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The proposed library information system is intended to handle book collections, membership records, and borrowing and returning activities in a computerized environment. Moreover, the system provides additional features such as notifications, activity log tracking, and automated report generation to assist administrative tasks and evaluation processes. The findings indicate that the web-based library system enhances access to library information, speeds up borrowing and returning services, and supports the digital transformation of library services at the Balai Guru Penggerak of East Nusa Tenggara Province. Black box testing results show that all system functions operate correctly and achieve a 100% success rate.
