Abstract

Pratama Kualin Hospital is a healthcare facility that serves several sub districts with a location quite far from the city center, causing the community to experience difficulties in obtaining information regarding doctor schedules, health services, and patient registration procedures. In addition, the registration process which is still carried out manually results in long queues and is less efficient. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a web portal as a medium for providing information services and online patient registration at Pratama Kualin Hospital using the Waterfall system development method, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The developed web portal provides features such as hospital service information, doctor schedules, announcements, and online patient registration. The results of functional testing using the Black Box Testing method indicate that all system features run according to the designed specifications. The system can be used to register patients both online and offline, and it also assists administrators in managing patient and registration data. In addition, the system provides report generation features that allow administrators to print patient reports and registration reports, which can be viewed as a whole or based on daily, weekly, and monthly periods, as well as by clinic (poly) and service category. Thus, the developed system is considered feasible to use and is able to support improved service efficiency and reduce registration queues at Pratama Kualin Hospital.
