Abstract

De’Florist Decoration is an event decoration service business that still faces various problems in managing orders, scheduling, and report generation. All business processes are still carried out manually, which often causes delays in information delivery, recording errors, and low service efficiency for customers. To overcome these problems, a web-based information system is needed to integrate all data management processes in a more structured and effective manner. This research aims to design and develop a web-based decoration service information system that includes online ordering features, decoration scheduling, and transaction reporting. The system development was carried out using the Waterfall method, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The system was developed using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework and MySQL as the database. The results of this study indicate that the developed system is able to simplify the online ordering process, accelerate customer and order data management, and assist administrators in managing schedules and transaction reports automatically. Based on the results of testing using the black box testing method, all system features function properly and meet user requirements. The implementation of this system is expected to improve operational efficiency, minimize manual recording errors, and enhance the quality of service provided by De’Florist Decoration.
