Abstract
The thesis entitled "The Influence of Leadership, Work Environment, and Work Discipline Mediated by Work Motivation on Employee Performance at the Biro Organisasi Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur" was written by Johanis Dominggus Kale, NIM : 811 212 001MM, guided by Dr. Simon Sia Niha, SE, M.Si, and P. Dr. Paskalis Seran, SVD., Dipl Theol, MBA. This study aims to examine and analyze the relationship between Leadership, Work Environment, Work Discipline, Work Motivation, and Employee Performance. It also aims to determine the influence of Leadership, Work Environment, and Work Discipline on Work Motivation and Employee Performance. It also examines how Work Motivation mediates the relationship between Leadership, Work Environment, and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at the Organizational Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of East Nusa Tenggara Province. The methods used in this study were Descriptive Analysis and Inferential Statistical Analysis using SEM PLS with a sample and population of 38 employees at the Organizational Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of East Nusa Tenggara Province. The results of the Descriptive Analysis test show that the Description of Leadership is in the Good category (79.68), Work Discipline is in the good category (72.24), Employee Performance is also good (75.79), Work Motivation (74.42) is good while the Work Environment (56.32) is quite good, so that Hypothesis 1 is rejected. The results of the Inferential Statistical Analysis Test show that there is a positive and significant influence between the Leadership variable, the work environment variable, the Work Discipline variable on the Work Motivation Variable. There is a positive and significant influence between the leadership variable and the Work Motivation Variable on the employee performance variable. However, in contrast to the Work Environment, it turns out that it has no significant effect on Employee Performance and Work Discipline also gives negative and insignificant results on Employee Performance. But when Work Motivation is Present as a Mediator, the Relationship between Leadership, Work Environment and Work Discipline on Employee Performance becomes Positive and Significant.
