Abstract

The current problem is the satisfaction of the service from the performance of government employees for the community both at the village level and the national level. This research was conducted based on the problems that arise in the community from what they have received so far from the Muruona Village government services, such as delays in certificates and the attitude of the officers who are less than friendly. Whether or not the community is satisfied is the community's direct experience of the service and the performance of employees on what has been obtained. This research was conducted in Muruona Village, Ile Ape District, Lembata Regency in 2025. The population in this study was the entire community and village officials, with a research sample of 50 respondents (5 village officials and 45 residents). The data analysis method in this study uses simple linear regression analysis with testing methods through descriptive tests, validity tests, reliability tests, F tests, Pearson correlation tests, t tests, and R² determination coefficient tests. The results of this study indicate that the performance of administrative services has a significant effect on public satisfaction, as evidenced by the correlation coefficient r value of 0.999 (very strong positive), the calculated F value of 24366.116 is greater than the F table, and the calculated t value of 2645.122 is greater than the t table. The performance of administrative services is able to explain the public satisfaction variable by 99.8% (R² = 0.998), the remaining 0.2% is explained by other variables outside this study.
