Abstract

New student admission is a crucial process in the provision of education at the school level. Currently, SDN Fohomane still uses a manual system for the registration, selection, and management of prospective student data, which creates various challenges for both the school and prospective students. Frequent obstacles include data recording errors, delays in obtaining information, and a lack of transparency in the selection process. This research aims to design a web-based new student admission information system that can assist the school in managing the registration process more effectively and efficiently. This web-based system can facilitate prospective students' online registration. The method used in this research is the waterfall method, which includes the stages of analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The expected outcome of this research is a system that can simplify the process of managing prospective student data, expedite the registration process, and increase transparency in the selection process for new student admissions.
