Abstract

This study aims to develop a web portal that provides information on the diversity of agricultural and plantation crops in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The portal is designed to offer convenient and fast access for farmers, the general public, and related institutions particularly the Department of Agriculture—in obtaining information about various types of crops that can be cultivated in the region. The information provided includes climate, major producing areas, altitude, harvest time, benefits, cultivation methods, pests, and propagation. The development method used in this study is the Waterfall method, which allows for clear and structured development stages. Each stage begins with requirement analysis, followed by system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. These stages are carried out sequentially to ensure that the system developed can effectively meet user needs. The result of this research is the successful development of a web portal that functions as an agricultural information system for East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The system is capable of presenting crop data accurately and in an easily accessible manner, enabling farmers, the general public, and relevant institutions to utilize the information directly. The portal supports planning and decision-making processes in the development of agricultural and plantation commodities in NTT. With the implementation of this system, users can obtain more structured and comprehensive information, thereby increasing the effectiveness of programs aimed at improving productivity and sustainability in the agricultural and plantation sectors in the region.
