Abstract
Technological advancements in today’s digital era have driven major transformations across many sectors, including village-level government administration. However, a considerable number of villages still have not fully utilized these technologies, one of them being Naisau Village in Sasitamean District, Malaka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The primary challenge lies in the population data collection process, which is still carried out manually using large ledgers before being re-entered into a computer. This approach is inefficient because it is prone to input errors, data duplication, and delays in information processing, ultimately resulting in slow administrative services for the community. As a solution, this study proposes the development of a Web Based and Mobile Population Data Collection Information System for Naisau Village, integrated through an API. The system is designed to support village officers such as RT and RW by enabling them to collect data directly in the field using a mobile application. The collected data will be stored in a centralized database and automatically synchronized with the web system through an Application Programming Interface (API) once the device is connected to the internet. The development process follows the waterfall methodology, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The expected outcome is an integrated, efficient, and accurate population data information system. Key features include a statistical dashboard, automatic notifications via Telegram, and exportable reports in Excel and PDF formats. Ultimately, this system is intended to enhance administrative efficiency and support the digital transformation of village governance.
