Abstract

CV. Media Kita faces significant challenges in managing its daily operations due to the absence of an integrated information system. Various operational constraints such as inefficient resource allocation, data input errors, and a high risk of asset damage largely stem from conventional inventory management and staff scheduling practices. In response to this urgency, this research focuses on the development of a comprehensive web-based management information system. By implementing the Laravel framework, the system is designed to integrate the entire digitalization process, ranging from monitoring equipment availability to automating employee work scheduling. The prototyping methodology was selected to facilitate iterative development involving active user participation in the evaluation and refinement process. This approach enables continuous adaptation to the company’s specific needs and ensures that the resulting system is truly applicable in practice. The study resulted in the development of a web-based inventory management and staff scheduling information system. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) demonstrated a very high level of acceptance, with a percentage score of 92.83%, where all respondents indicated agreement or strong agreement across all system aspects, including ease of use, reliability, interface clarity, and operational benefits. The developed system provides a significant contribution to improving the operational efficiency of CV. Media Kita.
