Abstract

National Border Crossing Post (PLBN) is an inspection facility used to regulate the entry and exit of people and goods between two countries. However, in handling exports and imports of goods, there are still problems with delays in the process of goods entering Timor Leste and delays in incoming documents, resulting in Exporters and importers have to wait quite a long time. The cause of this problem is that people and PTs who want to export and import must come directly to the PLBN to find out the requirements for exporting and importing, where the process of processing export-import documents is quite complex and takes a relatively long time, so people who want to export and import must come directly to the office. PLBN to find out the requirements for export and import of goods. "This research aims to develop a web-based application that is able to simplify the data management process. One approach to overcoming the problem is to provide a very effective platform so that it can help or make it easier for people who want to export and import without having to come directly to the PLBN. The model used used, namely the waterfall model using a structured software and hardware development approach with stages of analysis, design and development, writing, testing and validation of program implementation. This system uses PHP as a server-side programming language for building and managing web applications, as well as the base MYSQL data to store information. Tests carried out using the black box method showed that the system functioned according to the expected specifications and no critical problems were found, indicating that the web-based application for managing export and import goods data in the Motamasin PLBN can function optimally on laptop devices and tablets, and supports various screen sizes and browser resolutions. With this system, it is hoped that it can simplify the data management process and increase the operational efficiency of exporters and importers in monitoring and analyzing export-import data easily and quickly, avoiding protracted waiting times and also assisting PLBN employees in managing data on incoming and outgoing goods. just by using the websit
