Abstract
This study aims to: 1) Determine the effect of problem-based learning models assisted by video media on learning motivation in the material of wave-particle dualism of class XII SMAS Seminari Pius XII Kisol, 2) determine the effect of problem-based learning models assisted by video media on students' scientific reasoning abilities in the main material of wave-particle dualism of class XII SMAS Seminari Pius XII Kisol, This research method is quantitative descriptive analysis research with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The sample of this study was 17 class XII IPA students. Data collection techniques used test questions, and student learning motivation questionnaires. The results showed that there was a difference in the average score of students before and after implementing the problem-based learning model with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, and warm learning motivation students got an average score of 75.88 which is included in the moderate category.
