Abstract

Bajawa culture is one of the cultural heritages of the Ngada tribe in Ngada Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. Bajawa is known for its unique traditions, arts, and customs that represent the identity of its community. However, the lack of documentation and promotion of this cultural heritage has resulted in Bajawa's cultural legacy being less recognized both locally and globally. To address this issue, this study aims to design and develop a web portal dedicated to documenting, preserving, and promoting Bajawa’s cultural heritage. The portal provides information about Bajawa's traditions, history, arts, and customs in the form of text, photos, and videos, making it easily accessible to the public. The research applies the waterfall development method, which includes the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The result of this research is a web portal that serves as a primary platform to promote Bajawa culture to the local community and tourists, as well as an educational tool to encourage cultural preservation. This portal is expected to enhance the recognition of Bajawa’s cultural heritage and contribute to its preservation and the development of regional cultural potential.
