Abstract

This research was written by Agustinus Logho Tapo (31121007), Development Economics Study Program, under the guidance of Maria Erse Perseveranda, S.E.,M.Si as supervisor I, and Mrs. Maria Imakulata Pongge, SE, MEc Dev as supervisor II with the title "Analysis of Community Economic Empowerment Fund Management in Lasiana Village, Kelapa Lima District, Kupang City". The purpose of this research is to increase access to business capital assistance, increase access to human resource development and increase access to facilities and infrastructure that directly support the socio-economics of the local community. This study uses a descriptive analysis method, which provides an objective description of a particular phenomenon. Informants in this study included LPM officials, LPM treasurers, and PEM fund recipients. This study aims to analyze the extent of the Community Economic Empowerment Fund Management Process (PEM) in Lasiana Village, Kelapa Lima District, Kupang City and Government Efforts in responding to existing obstacles in the Utilization of PEM Funds. The results of this study indicate that the Process of Analysis of PEM Fund Program Management in Lasiana Village, Kelapa Lima District, Kupang City has not been running well, due to the lack of socialization and understanding from the community and the lack of supervision from the LPM with the recipients of PEM funds so that it is hoped that they can supervise better so that the funds that have been received can be used according to their intended use and can be returned on time, therefore the LPM must provide socialization, direction, and improve supervision properly to recipients of PEM funds. LPM is also expected to be able to provide strict sanctions to recipients who are in arrears in order to provide a deterrent effect.
