Abstract

Waste is one of the environmental problems that continues to increase along with population growth and economic activities. Bank Sampah Peduli Kota Kupang plays an important role in waste management through a savings-based system that assigns economic value to waste and encourages community participation. However, the management of customer data, recording of deposit and withdrawal transactions, and balance monitoring at Bank Sampah Peduli Kota Kupang are still carried out manually. This condition may lead to recording errors, information delays, and a lack of transparency in monitoring customer balances and transaction histories. As a solution to these problems, this study aims to design and develop a web-based waste bank information system with real-time transaction and balance monitoring features at Bank Sampah Peduli Kota Kupang. The system is designed to facilitate the digital and integrated management of customer data, waste types, and deposit and withdrawal transactions. The system development method used in this study is the Waterfall method, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. The system is developed using the Laravel framework to support a structured and efficient web-based application development process. The result of this study is a web-based information system that can improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in data management at Bank Sampah Peduli Kota Kupang, as well as provide convenience for customers in monitoring transactions and balances in real time. With the implementation of this system, the operational effectiveness and service quality of Bank Sampah Peduli Kota Kupang are expected to increase.
