Abstract
This study is titled The Influence of Leadership Style on Employee Work Motivation at the Satpol PP Office of East Nusa Tenggara Province, and aims to analyze the influence of leadership style on employee work motivation at the Satpol PP Office of East Nusa Tenggara Province. The background of the study is based on communication barriers, lack of recognition, and limited opportunities for self-development, which affect work enthusiasm. The research method used is associative quantitative with a sample of 35 respondents. Data was collected through observation and Likert scale questionnaires, and then analyzed using simple linear regression through the SPSS program. The research results indicate that the leadership style and work motivation at the institution fall into the "Very High" category. Statistically, the t-test proves a significant influence of leadership style on work motivation, with a calculated t-value of 3.615 > t-table 1.679 and a significance value of 0.001. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.284 indicates that leadership style contributes 28.4% to work motivation, while the remaining 71.6% is influenced by other factors such as the work environment and compensation. In conclusion, the implementation of a democratic leadership style and the provision of trust from leaders have been proven to significantly enhance employee work motivation.
