Abstract
Yosafat Labut, with Thesis 2025 entitled “Analysis of the Implementation of Green Governance in the Department of Food Crops, Horticulture, and Plantation of Timor Tengah Selatan Regency” This research aims to analyze the implementation of Green Governance in the Department of Food Crops, Horticulture, and Plantation of Timor Tengah Selatan Regency (TTS) based on indicators of commitment to sustainability, integration of environmental considerations, public participation, accountability, as well as justice and equality. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation from key informants such as department officials, extension workers, farmers, and NGOs. The research results show that the implementation of Green Governance in the department has been running quite well, evident from long-term policies that promote environmentally friendly agriculture, integration of environmental aspects in program planning, community participation through deliberation forums, accountability mechanisms through reporting and supervision, as well as efforts to distribute benefits evenly to small farmers and remote areas. However, the implementation is not yet optimal due to limitations in resources, access to information, and field supervision. The research conclusion is that Green Governance has become the foundation in sustainable agricultural management in TTS, but it needs strengthening through increased transparency, participation, and stakeholder collaboration to achieve long-term sustainability. The main recommendations include strengthening affirmative policies, continuous training, and participatory supervision.
