Abstract

Advances in information technology are driving educational institutions to improve the quality of administrative services through integrated systems. Lembah Kelapa Middle School (SMP Lembah Kelapa) continues to face challenges in managing student and teacher data, grades, class schedules, and school profiles. Manual processes often lead to delays, inaccuracies, and difficulties in information retrieval. Therefore, this study aims to design and build a web-based information system for Lembah Kelapa Middle School to improve the efficiency of data management and school administration services. The waterfall model was used, encompassing needs analysis, system design, implementation using PHP and MySQL, and black-box testing. The results indicate that the developed system is capable of managing student, teacher, class, schedule, and grade data more quickly, accurately, and easily accessible. The system also supports a more structured presentation of the school profile.
