Abstract

This research aims to design and build a web-based interactive mathematics learning media that can be used as a tool for teachers to explain mathematics material in a more engaging and understandable way, as well as to help seventhgrade students at the UPTD of SMP Negeri 5 Kupang Tengah learn the material more quickly and effectively. The system was developed using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, which consists of six stages: concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. This research also conducted testing using the black box method, where the results showed that all key features, such as the presentation of learning content, interactive quizzes, and feedback, functioned properly without any errors. Furthermore, the availability of interactive features such as text, images, animation, and audio makes this learning media suitable for increasing student participation and interest in learning mathematics, particularly in the areas of integers, geometric shapes, and plane shapes. Therefore, this web-based interactive mathematics learning media can be an effective alternative to support the learning process at SMP Negeri 5 Kupang Tengah.
