Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Family Hope Program (PKH) and Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) policies in Anakoli Village, Wolowae District, Nagekeo Regency, as a governmental effort to improve community welfare. Anakoli Village is one of the underdeveloped villages with a high poverty rate, where most residents work as farmers and fishermen. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation involving village officials, community leaders, and program beneficiaries. The findings indicate that the implementation of PKH and BLT policies has positively contributed to improving the quality of life of the villagers, especially in meeting basic needs and accessing health and education services. However, several challenges remain, such as limited budget, lack of transparency, and low community participation in the implementation process. This study recommends strengthening the capacity of village officials, improving monitoring mechanisms, and increasing community involvement at every stage of policy implementation to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of these social programs.
