Abstract

The research problems are formulated as follows 1) How beneficial are the development outcomes funded by the Village Fund for improving the welfare of the Tasain Village community in Belu Regency? 2) How is the participation of the community in supporting the development of Tasain Village in Belu Regency? 3) What development outcomes have been realized through the Village Fund in Tasain Village, Belu Regency? The objectives of this study are 1) To identify and analyze the level of benefit from development funded by the Village Fund for improving the welfare of the Tasain Village community in Belu Regency. 2) To analyze the level of community participation in supporting the development of Tasain Village in Belu Regency. 3) To identify and describe the development outcomes that have been realized through the Village Fund in Tasain Village, Belu Regency. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data consists of primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through interviews and direct observations with village officials and the Tasain community, while secondary data were obtained from official village documents, reports on the realization of the Village Budget (APBDes), and various relevant literature. Data analysis was conducted through stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the Village Fund in Tasain Village has been utilized for physical development, such as roads and drainage, which improve community access and mobility, as well as support economic activities, particularly in agriculture and livestock. Community empowerment activities, such as supporting farmer groups and capacity-building training, encourage the village's economic independence, while the BLT-DD program provides protection for disadvantaged residents, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, the management of the Village Fund provides tangible benefits through infrastructure, empowerment, and social protection, and significantly contributes to improving community welfare and participatory village development.
