Abstract

Tofu and tempeh factories are a rapidly growing agro-industrial sector in Indonesia, producing staple food products with high economic value. The Mayckel Product factory in Kupang Regency, as part of an MSME, has been operating since 2013 but still uses a manual system for managing production and sales. This leads to inefficiencies, recording errors, and barriers to effective decision-making. This study aims to design and build a web-based production and sales data management information system. The system development method used is the waterfall approach, which includes the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This system was built using HTML, Bootstrap, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend, and Python, SQLite, and Django for the backend. The system's main features include production and sales data management, integrated automated reports, and in-app notifications. The results demonstrate that implementing this system enhances operational efficiency, reduces data errors, and enhances the competitiveness of MSMEs by providing real-time data. In addition, the in-app alert feature has proven effective in helping monitor each stage of production activities in a more optimal and structured manner.
